The children enjoy their balloons on Christmas!

As we start the new year, please just take a moment to see the joy that you helped to bring to the children at Daniel Hoover Children's Village and the Oscar and Viola School for the Deaf. Your support helped us to be able to send funds so that both mission homes were provided with a very special day to celebrate Jesus' birth! Thank you! The kids loved all of the extremely treasured treats, which included jollof rice, cornbread, chicken, eggs, candies, popcorn, soda, and even some colorful balloons! Truly a feast!

Trade School at the Deaf Mission

The trade school being built on the grounds of the Oscar and Viola School for the Deaf continues to be constructed, and ACFI leaders plan to dedicate the school in February.  They are currently working to raise the remaining funds that are needed to finish the roof. Some of the year-end donations that received will be directed to that project. A small team will be traveling to Liberia in late February, led by Becky Lloyd. They will attend the dedication of the trade school as well as the ACFI annual conference.

                                 Very special meal!!

Since the team is traveling, we have a wonderful opportunity to offer you, as sponsors, the chance to send a package to your sponsored child(ren). If you would like to do so, you may send a 9" x 12" manila folder filled with things such as letters, pictures, hard candies, snacks, toys, clothing items, school supplies, toothbrushes, etc. Mark the outside of the folder clearly with your child's full name, your name, and the name of the mission home where they live. Please send these to Corrie Luebke ~16136 Xingu St. NE ~Forest Lake, MN ~55025 by February 1st, 2013.

We trust that you had a wonderful season celebrating Jesus, and we are extremely grateful for your involvement in the lives of the children of Liberia.

    With JOY,

    Corrie Luebke
    Sponsorship Coordinator
